The Chrometco Group is the holder of chromite mineral and surface rights on Rooderand. In September 2007, Chrometco announced the conditional disposal of its Rooderand assets for R62 million to DCM Chrome.
Subsequent to the decision to conditionally dispose of the Rooderand assets, the Chrometco Group is currently involved in the continuing process of identifying and considering various exploration projects as they present themselves to management.
